The RAPID (Research in AI for Progressive Interdisciplinary Development) acronym conveys the swift advancement and progress in AI-driven research across multiple disciplines. Our Vision at RAPID is to “propel PES University as a leader in AI-powered innovation”. Our Mission is to “empower diverse sectors through collaborative research, education, and cutting-edge solutions by harnessing the power of AI, ML, and related technologies across domains and disciplines”.
To achieve our vision and realize our mission, the RAPID center is modeled as a twin Center of Excellence (CoE), targeting people, knowledge, and AI-ML technologies in two complementary verticals.
