Dr. Revanasiddappa M is a Professor in the Department of Science and Humanities at PES University,
Bengaluru, with over 20 years of teaching and 18 years of research experience. He holds a Ph.D. in
Coordination Chemistry from Gulbarga University and has made significant contributions in the fields of
inorganic chemistry, polymer science, and nanocomposites. His research focuses on conducting
polymers (polyaniline, polypyrrole, polythiophene) and their nanocomposites, emphasizing applications
in humidity sensing, electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, and smart materials. He also works on
green synthesis of metal complexes, microwave-assisted materials, and sustainable nanocomposites
derived from industrial and agricultural waste.
Dr. Revanasiddappa has authored over 100 research articles in reputed journals such as Journal of Alloys
and Compounds, Synthetic Metals, Materials Science Forum, and Journal of Materials Science: Materials
in Electronics. He has co-authored book chapters with leading international publishers like Wiley and
CRC Press. An active mentor and research collaborator, he has guided numerous students and has
presented extensively at national and international conferences, earning accolades including the Wiley
Best Poster Award (ICONN 2025).
