Matlab & Simulink
The Sensor Lab in PES has all the hardware (CPUs) for a computing farm of 32 processor-cores designed to be used with Matlab distributed computing toolbox. The know-how to develop complex system level simulations in Matlab & Simulink is readily available.
AutoCAD
AutoCAD and Solid-Edge are routinely used to convert our 2D and 3D drawings into CAD models for downstream operations like laser cutting and 3D printing.
Arduino-IDE
Several projects employ the Arduino open-source IDE and associated MCU hardware to do embedded prototyping. Over 20 Arduino modules and the IDE are available for student projects. In addition, numerous sensor shields custom-made for Arduino are stocked. C/C++ and OOP methodologies are used for embedded SW support in projects.
