Premier organizations have relied on PES University's talent and well-equipped laboratories to successfully complete research projects.

The university has provided funding for many promising projects. Below are the key organizations that have supported research at PES University.

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)

A national-level apex advisory body for surveys on facilities in technical education. The Council covers programmes of technical education including training and research in engineering and technology at different levels.

Naval Research Board (NRB)

Mandated to strengthen the knowledge base related to the naval environment. Institutes grants to nurture research talent and create facilities for promoting basic research, design and development through specialist panels covering hydrodynamics, sonar and ocean environment.

Additional Funding Bodies

Plays a pivotal role in promotion of science & technology in the country. Wide-ranging activities from promoting high-end basic research to development of cutting-edge technologies through funding schemes.

Designs, develops and leads to production of tracked armoured vehicles and specialist vehicles. Builds technological capabilities in critical areas including test and evaluation of combat systems.

Primary activity is R&D in information and communication technology and electronics including Health Informatics. Research is driven by specific application areas and is mostly applied in nature.

ISRO provides financial support for R&D activities related to Space Science, Space Technology and Space Application to academia in India.

AR&DB fosters R&D activities through grants-in-aid schemes across academic institutions and research laboratories to help the aerospace industry handle high-technology problems.

Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS)

An affiliating, teaching and research University that sponsors research projects after rigorous evaluation by an expert team.

University Grants Commission (UGC)

Offers research support to the university science faculties.

NIMHANS

A multidisciplinary institute for patient care and academic pursuit in the frontier area of mental health and neuro-sciences.

Department of Biotechnology (DBT)

Indian government department responsible for administrating development and commercialization in modern biology and biotechnology. Made significant achievements in agriculture, health care, animal sciences, environment, and industry.

DRDO

DRDO nurtures talent in academic institutions, universities, R&D centres and industry. Provides necessary facilities for promoting basic research and grants-in-aid for collaborative defence-related futuristic research.
