Research at PES

Premier organizations have relied on PES University’s talent for active assistance. The guidance provided by the experienced faculty and the well equipped laboratories have ensured successful completion of projects that meet the expectations of the funding organization.

The university has provided funding for many of the promising projects.

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)

The organization is a national level apex advisory body for conducting survey on the facilities on technical education and to promote development in the country in a coordinated and integrated manner. The purview of the Council covers programmes of technical education including training and research in engineering and technology at different levels.

Naval Research Board (NRB)

The organization is mandated to strengthen and deepen the knowledge base related to the naval environment. It institutes grants to nurture research talent and to create research facilities in for promoting basic research, design and development. The scheme is coordinated through specialist panels constituted for selected disciplines, namely, materials, hydrodynamics, sonar and signal behavior; ocean environment, and scientific computing. Eminent professors and researchers from leading institutions head these panels.

Department of Science & Technology

It plays a pivotal role in promotion of science & technology in the country. The department has wide ranging activities ranging from promoting high end basic research and development of cutting edge technologies through funding schemes.

Combat Vehicles Research and Development Establishment (CVRDE)

The mission of the organization is to design, develop and lead to production of tracked armoured vehicles and specialist vehicles to meet the needs of the services. Build technological capabilities in critical areas including test and evaluation of Combat systems.

Center for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC)

The primary activity in all centres of C-DAC is research and development in specific areas of information and communication technology and electronics including Health Informatics. The research activities are usually driven by specific application areas, and hence mostly applied in nature.

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)

ISRO has evolved a programme through which financial support is provided for conducting research and development activities related to Space Science, Space Technology and Space Application to academia in India.

National Institute of Design

National Institute of Design is internationally acclaimed as one of the finest educational and research institutions for IT Integrated (Experiential) Design recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization.

Aeronautical Research Development Board

AR&DB fosters research and development activities, through grants in aid schemes, in several academic institutions and research laboratories in the country. The need for developing R&D with appropriate content of basic and applied research to help aerospace industry to handle the problems of high technology has been the watch world in all its activities.

Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, (RGUHS)

It is affiliating, teaching and a research University that sponsors research projects after rigorous evaluation by expert team.

University Grants Commission (UGC)

The commission offers research support to the university science faculties.

NIMHANS

NIMHANS is a multidisciplinary Institute for patient care and academic pursuit in the frontier area of mental health and neuro-sciences.

Department of Biotechnology

Government of India. DBT is an Indian government department, responsible for administrating development and commercialization in the field of modern biology and biotechnology in India. Through several research and development projects, demonstrations, grants and creation of infrastructural facilities the department has made significant achievements in the growth and application of biotechnology in the broad areas of agriculture, health care, animal sciences, environment, and industry.

DRDO

DRDO nurtures talent in academic institutions, universities, R&D centres and industry. The organization provides necessary facilities for promoting basic research and to catalyse cross-fertilization of ideas for expanding and enriching the knowledge base in their respective areas. The boards provide grants-in-aid for collaborative defence-related futuristic frontline research having application in the new world class systems to be developed by DRDO.
