Dr. K. N. Seetharamu. His areas of interest are Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow in Energy Systems, Electronic Packaging, Finite Element Methods, Stress Analysis and Artificial Intelligence. He was previously a professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and in University Sains, Malaysia. He has over 175 journal publications in addition to several books and numerous conference papers. N. Seetharamu is Chair Professor in Thermal Engineering in the Mechanical Engineering Department. He holds an ME from the Indian Institute of Science and a PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
Dr. I.K. Ravichandra Rao. His areas of research are applied statistics, bibliometrics, informetrics and scientometrics, programming, library automation, information retrieval, information management and DBMS with special emphasis on bibliographical databases. He has numerous publications to his credit including the book Quantitative Methods for Library and Information Science. He held key positions at Documentation Research and Training Centre (DRTC) of the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) and the Indian Statistical Institute.
Prof. Rao holds Ph.D. degree from the University of Western Ontario, Canada a Master’s degree in Statistics and BSc. in Mathematics and Statistics.
Dr. K. S. Raghavan. is a Visiting Scientist at KANOE – the Centre for Knowledge Analytics and Ontological Engineering. He was a professor at the Documentation Research and Training Centre (DRTC) of the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) and the Dean (Academic) and Head of the Department of Library and Information Science at the University of Madras where he was also the Chairperson of the School of Information and Communication Studies and the School of Mathematics, Computer and Information Science. He is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the international journal Knowledge. He holds a PhD and Master’s in Library Science and bachelor’s in Physics, Mathematics and Library Science. He recently edited a volume titled Categories, Contexts and Relations in Knowledge Organization.
