PESU-Ayushman Project: A PESU initiative towards advancing successful ageing in India through clinical research and AI innovations
OngoingThis is a collaborative project with PESU IMSR and Computer Science & Engineering, EC Campus focused on advancing research in Successful Aging, funded by PES University Internal Research Grant. The project aims to develop and validate an AI assisted tool for assessment of healthy aging suitable for the Indian population.
Research Opportunities
Currently we have the following opportunities for collaboration.
1. Students - join us as Interns to work on an exciting healthtech project.
We welcome student interns from departments of CSE, CSE/AIML and Nursing to join our project.

Exploring relevance of noncognitive skills in higher education
OngoingNoncognitive skills define a person's attitudes and behaviors in general and they are distinct from cognitive skills or intellectual capabilities. Research in the recent past posited noncognitive skills such as self regulation, resilience, social skills etc. as foundational to educational success, often acting as better predictors of long-term academic and life outcomes than cognitive ability alone. This project explores the role of noncognitive skills specifically in higher education. Objectives of the study included identifying and measuring relevant noncognitive skills that affect academic performance, enabling right interventions and enhanced academic success.
